Graphic Designer & Equestrian
Carolynne can’t remember a day when she wasn't passionate about horses. It was this obsession which revealed her artistic side. Since she didn’t own a horse as a child, she satisfied her longing for all things equine by drawing horses.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts in 1989, Carolynne immersed herself in the horse industry for over ten years, working at such prestigious facilities as Iron Spring Farm in Pennsylvania and Spring Creek Equestrian Center in Jackson, WY.
In 1999, Carolynne’s prior interest in artwork inspired her to pursue advanced education, and a career in graphic design. She enrolled in an Applied Graphics program, and worked at a small firm as a graphic designer and production artist. Carolynne is now freelance, and currently works on a mix of equestrian, non-profit, and small business projects.
In addition to her design work, she also trains horses and teaches dressage. She has worked with world-class trainers Lilo Fore and Michael Etherly in California, and her gelding, Pixel, is currently schooling Third Level dressage. Before retiring her mare, Coco, Carolynne competed her through Third Level.
