Storage of shavings and straw
requires a great deal of space, regardless of the size of the
equine operation. Woody Pet Professional Animal Bedding
requires considerably less space than bags of shavings or bales
of straw, and it is less messy and more convenient than bulk shavings.
There
are 65 30-lb. bags on one 40" x 48" pallet, which has been shrink-wrapped
twice and over-bagged with plastic that covers the entire pallet.
They are ideal for outside storage. For those with even less
space for storage, the 30-lb. bags can be stacked in tight areas
or in easily accessible places. In addition, they are great
for travel, as they take up very little space in a trailer tack
room.
Since Woody Pet creates less waste, the
manure pile is smaller and decomposes more rapidly, due to the
absence of excessive soiled bedding. Because the wood fibers
in this product are much smaller than shavings and sawdust,
and because the resins, oils, tar are removed, the waste products
begin the decomposition process immediately.
